Turkey’s largest agriculture and livestock fair held in the Aegean province of Izmir. “We expect a $500 million trade volume at the fair,” Fatih Tan, chairman of the 13th Agroexpo International Agriculture and Livestock Fair, told its opening ceremony with the attendance of Ahmet Esref Fakibaba, Turkey’s food, agriculture and livestock minister.
The fair features exhibits on such subjects as agricultural mechanization, greenhouse technologies, water and irrigation systems, fertilizers, and ecological agriculture.
In terms of the number of exhibitors and visitors, the fair is also the fourth-largest agricultural fair in Europe, according to its official website.
The fair brought 850 companies together with nearly 300 thousand visitors.
