This year, Turkey will be the partner country for the Summer Fancy Food Show, the largest marketplace for specialty food in North America, taking place June 25 – 27, 2017 in New York City. At the show, 40 Turkish companies will present a wide range of products including dried and frozen fruits and vegetables, olive oil & other edible oils, olives, canned & preserved & pickled vegetables and fruits, fruit juices, pasta & semolina, pulses & cereal products, confectionery and bakery, spices &herbs, nuts, organic agricultural products, natural foods etc.
The national participation of Turkey at Summer Fancy Food Show is organized by Aegean Exporters’ Association for the twentieth time to promote the high quality Turkish food products in the huge U.S. market.
Turkey is the world’s leader in the production of fresh figs, apricots, cherries and sour cherries. Turkey is also one of the main exporters of sun & semi dried tomatoes, canned vegetables, confectionery, pasta, bulgur, vegetable oil, legumes, oil seeds and spices.
