New target markets from ANFAŞ

ANFAŞ comes with greater targets with the new structure. Besides Hotel Equipment and Food Product, two other new projects have started and followed with more publicity overseas. ANFAŞ General Manager Murat Özer who informs about new structure for new target markets stated that in 2018, cooperation in international area will increase

ANFAŞ General Manager Murat Özer explained about the new projects and the road map. Özer informed about; ANFAŞ wind of change last year; the new road map and projects to develop Turkey and the area. Özer stated that ANFAŞ started with two new projects besides two brand fairs Hotel Equipment and Food Product which will lead to a jump in economy of Turkey.


After completion of ANFAŞ 60 thousand square meter fair area the first target was to invite foreign visitors to Antalya. With the new structure in ANFAŞ; German, Arabic, Bosnian, Bulgarian, English, Spanish, Italian, Persian, Kazakh, Russian, Serbian; 12 languages speaking foreign visitors and participants were present.

Özer mentions that with the new structure and changes fairs will be internationally cooperative this year, “Starting from this year changes are seen in ANFAŞ and the fairs. We planned foreign publicity attacks in 2017 for the two brands in ANFAŞ; Hotel Equipment- International Accommodation and Entertainment Equipment Specialty Fair and Food Product- International Food and Drinks Specialty Fair. BAKA (West Mediterranean Development Agent), BAİB (West Mediterranean Exporters Association), DEİK (Foreign Economic Relation Council) and with agents followed by ANFAŞ , thousands of participants from 21 countries came together.”

Özer stated that ANFAŞ will widen its publicity for new fairs, “Foreign visitors are essential to make these fairs international. Last year was tough for all of us.  Last year we brought visitors from countries other than the ones ANFAŞ has made contracts with. In addition to our foreign activities we have made term sheet with Germany, Brazil, Bulgaria, China and Tunisia. We have completed term sheets with India, Kosovo, Serbia, Greece and Mozambique. As a result of our cooperation with foreign agents we continue to meet our target markets with the participants.”

Özer stated about the domestic activities that, “TÜROFED –Turkey Hotels Federation in 81 cities, AKTOB – Mediterranean Touristic Hotels and Administrators Association for 2400 hotels in the area, POYD – Professional Hotels Administrators Association organized visitor publicity activities, , TESK – Turkey Merchants and Craftsman Confederation organized publicity and visitor activities in 81 cities,  Turkey restauranteur federation procurement committee activities, TOBB- Turkey rooms and stock market activities in 81 cities,  Road Shows in 24 cities for face to face sector meetings, in 81 cities local publicity with  ATSO and foreign procurement committee with 200 people, Antalya Trade Market publicity activities in 81 cities are present.”

Murat Özer combining mentioned that combining two fairs with visitors and participant that show similar qualification for 29th Hotel Equipment and 25th Food Product was a novelty, “We plan two fairs simultaneously during 17-20 January 2018 in accordance with the request of the sector representatives. Participants will be able to reach accommodation, entertainment and partners, face to face contacts, activities, conferences simultaneously.”

The first fair of the projects will be jewelry with unique designs not only in center of Antalya but also in the districts. ANFAŞ Jewelry Expo-Gold, Jewel, Silver, Watch and Technologies fair will be during 19-22 April 2018 with producers, exporters, wholesalers, designers, suppliers, representatives and visitors.

Following Jewelry Expo during 10-13 May 2018 ANFAŞ Well Life 2018- Outdoor & Indoor Activities, Wellness and Healthy Life Fair will be present. Antalya which provides outdoor sports for 4 seasons will bring together participants  and visitors to Antalya Expo center with sports equipments, athlete health, cosmetics, sports gear and accessorizes, food and nutrition, outdoor sports and sports centers.
